Headed east on I-90

Several days ago I asked Terry if we were leaving on Hwy 2 or I-90 and he replied, "90 of course." So, after the gas and last minute grocery stop we will stop to see my mom and then escape out of town. It feels abosolutely freeing with our plans of "not having any set plans." We'll know we are there when we get there. I remember when Terry and I first started taking vacations together and he couldn't and wouldn't decide where we going until we left the driveway. As the years passed, he got more willing to plan ahead which is how we ended up in Alaska and Colorado. Well, this time we will end up where we park each night and go from there. The first destination is Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands of South Dakota. From there, who knows.
