Over the past few days I have been tangling more while using the Zentangle blog as well as Suzanne McNeill's blog. Both are very helpful. My favorite is http://tanglepatterns.com where I can see the breakdown of how to draw the various patterns in a step by step fashion.
This picture show how I follow what is on http://tanglepatterns.com into my notebook. Practicing and then actually doing it step by step helps implant it in my head and hand.
This was totally Zen Quilted before any pen work was added. More quilting to fill out to the borders is needed before I put the sashing on it and add the french binding. The shading was done with colored pencil, Micron .5 pink marker and pink Fabrico pens. Very fun!
Terry has chemo again today so I will be working more on new tangle patterns.
