Sunday afternoon we noticed the floor was wet in the bathroom and further investigation had the wetness into the hall and bedroom carpet. Yep, we had a leak in the bathroom near the sink. Thank heavens it was a fresh water hose and valve. Nothing miraculous happened overnight to solve the problem and Terry didn't have the supplies to fix it so we headed for Rapid City. A wonderful man at the Black Hills RV Repair Center (a two bay garage attached to a gas station and convenience store) helped us out and after several hours, we were on our way again. Mind you, we didn't get an early start to the day since it was sleep in day. More time to let it fix itself! At any rate, we got to the Mt. Rushmore/ Palmer Gulch KOA about 5:30 and took a shuttle to Mt. Rushmore for the lighting ceremony. Matty's anxiety medicine didn't work so the folks near us were pretty tired of her when we got back after the lighting ceremony at Mt. Rushmore. Words could not do it justice. Simply amazing! Very emotional and patriotic.
