9/12/08 Friday: A Gray Day that Got Wet
The morning brought gray skies as we got to know our new neighbors. Around two o'clock we wandered over to the vendor's area before the first race of the weekend started. Darn, it started to rain and the racing was done for the day. We did walk through the stadium in hopes that the rain would stop, but to no avail. So, was back to the camp to listen to stories of past races and predictions of what the rain would or wouldn't do tomorrow.
