9/13/08 No Rain, Let’s Race
Before my alarm went off, I could hear the motors revving at the race track. I was so excited that I got Terry to go to the track much sooner than he was ready to do. I was afraid it would start raining again and the entire race weekend would go down the drain. We spent the majority of the day over at the track watching the different events. It was awesome. The aluminum seats got hard, the head sets hurt your ears, but it didn’t matter. We were at the races.
After the races, we partied with our new friends until late into the night. It was so fun to potluck it and just stand around and talk to new people. I think Terry and I were very ready to have someone else to talk to after almost 8 weeks on the road.
