9/27/08 The long road from Fort Collins to Grand Tetons

9/27/08 The long road from Fort Collins to Grand Tetons
The drive from Fort Collins to Grand Tetons has undoubtedly some of the most lonesome, forlorn looking and feeling landscape that we have traveled. Kansas is just plain boring, but this is empty, vacant nothingness. People live here and there is a high desert beauty to it. Almost four hundred miles to reach the Grand Tetons and their astounding majesty. To go from national park to national park, it was really easy how the folks that set aside these parks decided where to place the boundries.

We camped at Colter Bay on Jackson Lake.
