May 8, 2009 I-84 Pendleton OR to Twin Falls, ID
In our 358 miles today we saw snow in the Blue Mountains of Oregon, sage brush in the high desert of OR, and the brilliant orange sunset from the KOA in Twin Falls Idaho. Not much variety, but it sure beats the vast brown expanses of Kansas and Missouri that we saw last year. Seven hours on the road and gas ranging from $2.09 to $2.49. This KOA has two nights for the price of one so we decided to see the sights in the area.
