The Twin Falls/ Jerome KOA was a quiet place to rest our heads. The baby owls were a bonus!!
41 years have passed since Terry was in Sun Valley and, needless to say, it has changed a tremendous amount. He didn't recognize much except for the Sun Valley Inn where he partied when he was here in 1968.
From there we went to Twin Falls to see Shoshone Falls which are higher than Niagara Falls. After being there, this is every bit as big, just not commercialized at all. Almost as much as water is going over the falls this year as was going over it in 1997 when it was at it's highest ever.
We arrived on the viewing platform just as a Base Jumper leapt off the Perrine Bridge which is one of the only places where Base Jumping is legal. Base Jumping is when a person jumps from a bridge or somewhere high with a parachute ready to deploy almost immediately. I caught the jumper on film too. It was really cool. Terry said that if this had been happening when he was sky diving, that he probably would have tried it.
