8/21/08 Ohio to Pennsylvania to Niagara Falls, New York
Miles and miles of turnpike north on I-90 through construction zones and traffic jams brought us to Buffalo New York at dusk. By the time we got to Niagara Falls we could barely see the river, but it was beautiful as we realized we were finally here. 4,290 miles from home have taken somewhat of a toll because we are tired from the pushing the past two days. The past four tanks of gas we have averaged 7.8 mpg, which is very good. Of course most of the miles are highway and a great majority of them were at 45 – 60 miles per hour due to the construction along I-90. Lake Eric borders Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
