A day of rest is very welcome for us. We both felt just bone-weary after the past week of long drives and playing. Sometimes it surprises me how tiring it is to just have fun. I read a book yesterday and Terry napped and watched TV so it was very low keyed. Oh, we did laundry. That becomes a necessity when one is out of underwear and it makes one thankful of having laundry at home.
It never ceases to amaze me how well we get along in the motorhome. Makes me think that I am going to simplify life when I get home. Start getting rid of stuff that just sits in the corners and hasn't been touched or thought of in years. Hopefully I can keep my resolve long enough to do it this time. Wouldn't hurt to have less stuff to move around in sewing room, the basiment and so on. Now I just have to convince Terry of my plan, but I guess I have enough of my own stuff to worry about without causing him heartburn. I got started with the guest room because Amanda was coming before we left and it felt to pitch stuff to charity or the garbage. The real question comes when deciding what to donate. Will anyone really want or use some of this stuff? Who can it be given to so that it gets to those in need? I think I will do more checking around when I get home to really have a better understanding of who distributes the stuff that I don't need.
My prayer each night is that all those of you that we know and love are safe, healthy, happy and able to trust God to work out the miracles of life.
